Matthew R. Wagner, a member of Boy Scout Troop 79 in Glenmoore earned his Eagle Scout Award.

Rose Anne Shade of Cadette Girl Scout Troop 159, Honey Brook received her God and Church Award during Girl Scout Sunday services at Honey Brook United Methodist Church. She was one of 28 Girl Scouts from around the world chosen to participate in a Wider Opportunity known as Canadian Canoe Trails sponsored by the Beaver-Castle Girl Scout Council.
