State police charged a Reading woman and two Berks County men with robbing a 34-year-old man after driving him to a field in Greenwich Township.

Arrest warrants were obtained July 15 for Kendra Ruffner, 32, of Reading; Joshua Baker, 34, of Lenhartsville; and Michael Drup, 24,of Boyertown, following an investigation of the incident that occurred June 28 between 6 and 7:30 a.m., troopers at the Reading station said.

Ruffner turned herself in July 16 and remained free to await a hearing following arraignment before District Judge Kim L. Bagenstose.

She and her co-defendants are charged with robbery, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, simple assault and related counts.

Baker and Drup remain at large.

A fourth person involved hasn’t been identified.

Troopers said the victim, a Reading man, was taken to a field at Christman and Adams roads, assaulted and robbed. The victim, who suffered unspecified injuries, went to a nearby residence and someone called police.
