Our 8:30 a.m. Bible Study will be held Sunday. We will meet to explore the lectionary readings of the day. Come to ponder. Come to discuss. Come to listen. Come to learn.
Join us at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday for worship. On Sunday we will celebrate the Baptism of our Lord. We will celebrate the heavens opening and the Holy Spirit descending. We will remember the joy of Christmas as we are sprinkled with water from evergreen branches from our very own Advent wreath and Chrismon tree. The choir will sing, “This is My Beloved Son,” by Choplin.
JAM (Jesus and Me) class participants will sit with their families in church until after “Time for the Children.” Then, they will go to JAM Class, where they will learn about Jesus baptism, and return for a blessing or communion.
The adult forum will meet after worship, studying “Lutheran Questions, Lutheran Answers.”
Women’s Bible Study will meet at noon at Dorothy Girton’s house.
The Senior Breakfast Group will meet on Wednesday at 8 a.m. at Saville’s Restaurant. Come join the fun, food, and fellowship!
Happy New Year! The Community Clothing Rack will be open for shoppers on Jan. 16 from 1-4 p.m. Handbell Choir will rehearse at 6:30 p.m., and Senior Choir will rehearse at 7:30 p.m.

Boy Scout Troop 511 will sponsor Hoagie Sales January through May. The sales will be the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Orders will have to be placed on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. There is ham, turkey, Italian or cheese—lettuce, onion, tomato, sides hot peppers or sweet peppers, Italian or mayo packets. If you are interested to volunteer and to order as a new person, please contact Kitty Isett. Pick up will be at the old store every month. David Penman will lead the congregation in a service of Holy Communion, present the Children’s Sermon as well as the Sermon for the morning. Prayer Shawls, made by parishioners, will be blessed during the service. Confirmation will be held at 7:45 a.m. in room I.
