Prayer Wednesdays: The Sanctuary will be open on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 4-7 p.m. for a time of quiet prayer and reflection. Pastor Linda will have prayer books available along with some quiet music. This will be a time to pause, to spend some time with God, to listen for the whispers of the Spirit. Pastor Linda will also be available for those who would like to share or to be in prayer and will have frankincense available for anointing.

Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road Barto

Worship with us on this Pentecost/Confirmation Sunday on June 9 at 9 a.m. Pastor David Penman, supply pastor for the morning, will lead the congregation in a Holy Communion worship service. During the service, four young women will reaffirm their faith during the Rite of Confirmation. Those affirming their faith are: Stephanie Bauer, Zoe Eichinger, Emily Francisco, and Ava Novotny. These young ladies will read their Faith Journey Talks during the sermon portion of the service. The Confirmation classes will present the Children’s Sermon. Confirmation class will be held at 7:45 a.m. in room I. Sunday School for all ages and Adult has ended until the fall. Those ministering at the 9 a.m. service are: Acolyte; Hunter Hoffman, Lectors: Samantha Johns, Rebecca Sandoval, and Evan Fluke, Communion Assist: Mike Appold, Assistant Minister: Denise Hoffman and Ushers/Greeter; Dawn Hoffman, Jamie Johns, Rebecca Johns and Lindsey Brown. In celebration of Confirmation, immediately following the service there will be a Coffee hour in their honor in the Welcome Center.

The July Niantic News articles are due into the office on June 11, then at 9:30 a.m. there will be quilt tying in room H. At 11 a.m. on June 11, the ladies will gather at the church to carpool to Vincenzo’s in Douglassville for the Ladies Luncheon. Later that evening at 7:30 p.m., the Finance committee will meet in room B. Bridge Pastor, Pr. Ann Baly will have office hours on June 14 from 12 to 2 p.m.

Relay for Life Fundraiser: Dairy Queen, Gilbertsville, June 19, 4 to 9 p.m. Relay for Life receives 20 percent of all sales generated from this event. Flyers are on the table in the Narthex, you must have a flyer for the fundraiser.
