Trinity will host this year’s Thanksgiving Eve Service at 7 p.m. on Nov. 21 with the following churches and choirs also participating: Christ Lutheran Niantic, Most Blessed Sacrament, Calvary United Church of Christ, Bally Mennonite Church. Please join us for this special event. A social hour will be held in the Parish Hall following the service. Please bring a refreshment to share.

The Cantata “Rhapsody in Bluegrass” will be presented on Dec. 16 at the 10:15 AM worship service, followed by a Potluck Luncheon. Snow Date will be Dec. 30. A second presentation of the Cantata will be held at 3 p.m. Dec. 30 followed by refreshments.

Worship with us on 26th Sunday after Pentecost on Nov. 18 at our worship services at 7:45 and 10:15 a.m. Bridge Pastor, Pr. David Penman, will be leading the congregation in the worship service, preach the morning sermon, as well as present the Children’s Sermon. Confirmation will be held at 9 a.m. in room I. Sunday School for children will be held in room B and Sunday School for the Adults will be held in room H with both 9 a.m. Those ministering at the 7:45 a.m. service are Acolyte; OPEN, Lector; Terry Flicker, and Greeters/Ushers; Stephen and Sandy Hoffman. Those ministering at the 10:15 a.m. service are Acolyte; Ben Deery, Lector; Denise Hoffman, and Greeters/Ushers; Ginnie Wilkinson and Linda Quinn. Immediately following the worship service, there will be a coffee hour in the parlor to say our goodbyes and well wishes to Pr. Matt Ollikainen.

On Nov. 21 at 11 a.m., there will be a Good Grief lunch meeting at the Americana Diner on Rte. 100. Later that evening at 7 p.m., a Joint Thanksgiving Eve will be held at Trinity Lutheran, Bechtelsville. Five area churches will join together to give thanks. A joint choir will sing during the service. The church off will be closed on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22 as well as on Friday, Nov. 23.

Our annual Holiday Bazaar, Craft Show & Bake Sale will be Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items may be donated and dropped off for our church flea market stand the week of the event at the bottom doors.

Faith Formation for all ages takes place at 9 am Sundays. Children will meet in the Sunday School wing and adults will meet in the Fellowship Hall. All are invited.

Bible Study meets on most Mondays at 1:30 pm. New faces are always welcome, contact the church for the upcoming scheduled dates.

St. Luke Lutheran Church

Our 8:30 a.m. Bible Study will be held Sunday. We will meet to explore the lectionary readings of the day.

Join us at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday for worship. Sunday is Senior Sunday, with the service being designed and led by a number of St. Luke’s Senior Citizens. Communion will be celebrated. The Sr. Choir will sing, “Come Great God of All the Ages,” by Helman.

JAM (Jesus and Me) class participants will sit with their families in church until after “Time for the Children.” Then, they will go to JAM Class, and return for a blessing or communion. Youth Choir will meet to rehearse after the service.

On Wednesday, the Community Clothing Rack is closed due to the Thanksgiving holiday. At 7 p.m., worship will be held in Memorial Hall.

Thanksgiving is Thursday, and the church will be closed. Give thanks!

Season’s Best Craft Show will be held Friday and Saturday at Boyertown Middle School, East.
