St. Luke Lutheran Church

A blessed Thanksgiving to you all! The church office is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Monday, in observance of the holiday.

Our 8:30 a.m. Bible Study will be held Sunday. We will meet to explore the lectionary readings of the day.

Join us at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday for worship. On Sunday we observe the Reign of Christ with communion celebrated. We welcome Linc Noecker as our musician for the day!

JAM (Jesus and Me) class participants will sit with their families in church until after “Time for the Children.” Then, they will go to JAM Class, and return for a blessing or communion. Youth Choir will meet to rehearse after the service.

Following the service, join in the “Christmas-at-Sea” program in Memorial Hall. A Thrivent Action Team Grant has provided St. Luke with seed money to participate in this holiday initiative, which is a ministry of Seafarers International House. St. Luke has been challenged to fill 20 satchels to be distributed to Seafarers, docked in Philadelphia at Christmastime.

The Community Clothing Rack will be open Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. for clothing distribution.

Handbell choir will rehearse Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., and the Senior Choir will rehearse at 7:30 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church

Worship with us on Christ the King Sunday on Nov. 25 at our worship services at 7:45 and 10:15 a.m. Bridge Pastor, Pr. David Penman, will be leading the congregation in a Holy Communion worship service, preach the morning sermon, as well as present the Children’s Sermon at the 7:45 a.m. service. Pat Moser will present the Children’s Sermon at the 10:15 a.m. service. Confirmation will be held at 7:45 a.m. in room I for their extended class. Sunday School for children will be held in room B and Sunday School for the Adults will be held in room H with both beginning at 9:00 a.m. Those ministering at the 7:45 a.m. service are: Acolyte; OPEN, Cross Bearer: OPEN, Lector; Terry Flicker, Communion Assist: Stephen Hoffman and Greeters/Ushers; Terry Flicker and Roy Hoffman.
