READING - Janis Huston has been named the recipient of a Distinguished Joseph E. Coleman Award for the 2003-2004 academic year.
Huston, a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerald E. Huston, Elverson.
This award is made in amounts ranging from $8,000 to $12,000 ($2,000 to $3,000 per year for four years) and is given to qualified students of color. Students must show academic excellence as well as community and/or extracurricular involvement.
