Honey Brook Harmony Day, September 15, holds many surprises for residents and visitors – not the least of which will be all of the activities on the grounds of the Honey Brook Community Library.
The Friends of the Honey Brook Community Library will host a Book Sale in the parking area while yard-sales will be held on the front lawn. The Cupcake Lady is bringing her truck and dozens of luscious cupcakes and the Lions Food Truck will be serving breakfast sandwiches and food for lunch. The League of Women Votes will be onsite to register voters and the Honey Brook Historical Society will have a display in the Local History room of the Library. The Knitting Around knitters will feature a Needlecraft Swap and, for the kids, Legos will be available to create play items. The Library is participating in the Passport stamp program.
During the day, be sure to purchase a raffle ticket or two or ten for a beautiful hand-stitched quilt made in shades of purple and green on a white background in the Peacock pattern. Measuring 104 inches by 115 inches, this quilt is large enough to cover a king size bed, but it also looks right at home on a queen size bed. Tickets are $2.00 each or six for $10.00. The raffle tickets are provided compliments of Walter and Alfreda Labs.
The winning ticket for the raffle will be drawn at the Library at 3:00 in the afternoon and you do not have to be present to win, but you DO have to have purchased at least one raffle ticket! So stop by and take a chance.
We invite all to come to the Library grounds on Harmony Day, September 15, to take advantage of all of the bargains and activities to be found.
For more information about yard sale space or any of the other activities, call the Library at 610-273-3303. The Honey Brook Community Library is located at 687 Compass Road, Route 10, just south of Honey Brook.
