Twin Valley High School will set to stage a unique, witty show this 2019 musical season. The Addams Family will spark nostalgia for many audience members and will be filled with unexpected twists for viewers new to the idea of a family filled with darkness. The musical comedy will show in the Twin Valley High School auditorium on Thursday, March 28, Friday, March 29, Saturday, March 30, at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, March 31, as a matinee at 2 p.m.
The Addams Family follows the story of Wednesday Addams (Katherine Beauvais) as she falls in love with a “normal boy,” Lucas Beineke (Kyle Mazur). With the help of Uncle Fester (John Wodnick), the Addams’ ancestors who have come back from the dead, and Wednesday’s father, Gomez (Conner Lawler), she must convince the rest of the family that their love is true. The story follows Wednesday and Lucas’ attempt to force their families into getting along, as well as the conflict between Gomez and his adored wife, Morticia (Marley Mindziak), as he keeps a secret from her for the first time in their marriage.
