Laura Jones, 19, a senior enrolled in Twin Valley High School's School to Career Program, has been named November Student of the Month.

Laura is currently employed at Kemper Equipment in Honey Brook where she is responsible for receptionist duties and also performs miscellaneous clerical duties including travel reservations. Vickie Lobban, supervisor, applauds Laura for her pleasant personality and her good attitude, especially when receiving suggestions for improvement. Her former supervisor, Denise Reider at Stoltzfus Market, commented that Laura was an excellent worker-always willing to work extra if needed and rated her quality of work, attendance and attitude as excellent.

At school, Laura participated in the Child Development classes/program as well as the following business courses: Keyboarding, Introduction to Microsoft Office and PowerPoint Presentations.

Susan Plewa and Carolyn Shoemaker, Learning Support Instructors, express " . . .Laura is a pleasure to work with. She is mature beyond her years and is motivated to do well . . . always cooperative, pleasant, and appreciative of help . . . one of the hardest workers I have ever met."

Laura is currently undecided about her future career goals and hopes that work experience and exposure may help to define her aspirations. Best wishes for a great senior year, Laura!
