Twin Valley Elementary Center PIE, the parent teacher organization, will host their annual used book sale fundraiser on Thursday, April 7 and Friday, April 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 9 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The sale will feature hardcover and paperback books for adults and children. Books will be sorted and organized according to genre, including mysteries, cookbooks, gardening books, crafting books, romance novels, biographies, history, travel and more. There will be books for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. Everything will be priced from 50 cents to three dollars. The used book sale is a great way to find new reading material for the whole family. Baked goods will also be available for sale.

TVEC promotes reading in a variety of ways, including the Raider Readers Book Club, the RIF program (Reading is Fundamental), the Scholastic Book Fair and the Library programs. The used book sale is another great way for students, families and community members to acquire more reading material at a reasonable price while supporting the many programs PIE helps to fund at TVEC.

TVEC is located near the intersection of Route 23 and Route 401. Please park in the lower lot closest to the fire station to enter the building. Questions can be e-mailed to Karen Givens at
