Horse lovers, in kindergarten through sixth grade, are invited to attend a special “Horse Crazy” event on Saturday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m., at The Eastern Lancaster County Library, located at 11 Chestnut Drive, New Holland.
The program, presented by the Welsh Mountain 4-H Horse Club, will consist of horse stories, crafts and fun. Advanced registration is required for all library events. To register, stop by the circulation desk at the library, call 717-354-0525 or register online at www.elancolibrary.org. This program will be followed by a re-organizational club meeting with a question and answer period regarding becoming a 4-H horse club member. The club will also be offering the horse cloverbud program for ages five to seven (as of Jan. 1, 2016).
